Sakurao B&D to Showcase at Tokyo Bar Show 2024

Sakurao Brewery and Distillery Co., Ltd. (Sakurao B&D; 1-12-1 Sakurao, Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Koichiro Shirai) will be showcasing at the Tokyo International Bar Show 2024, one of the industry’s largest events, scheduled for May 11th and 12th, 2024 (Sat. and Sun.) at Tokyo Dome Prism Hall.

Cocktails and single malt whiskies will be served at the booth. Guest bartenders Shingo Noma (The Bar TopNote) and Osamu Kojima (Bar Alegre) will be serving a limited number of original cocktails exclusively available at the bar show. Additionally, exciting games with gorgeous prizes will be hosted at the booth. Please stop by!

Shingo Noma

Born in Hiroshima City. He began his career in hotels and restaurants at the age of 18 before founding his own business in 2013. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous awards at cocktail tournaments both in Japan and abroad, establishing himself as one of Japan’s most skilled and knowledgeable bartenders. Recently, The Bar TopNote was featured in the ’50 Best Discoveries’, attracting attention from the world.

Osamu Kojima

Being a bartender for 26 years, after working at a hotel in Hiroshima City for 15 years, he became an independent bartender and now has three locations in Hiroshima City, including Bar Alegre.
In 2023, as head of the Chugoku and Shikoku Branch of the Japan Hotel Barmen’s Association, he organized the ‘C-1 HIROSHIMA FARMER’S CUP’ cocktail event to promote Hiroshima Prefecture’s products through cocktails. The event received commendation from the Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture.
He also has been an instructor at a vocational school for 10 years, teaching and training young bartenders.
