SAKURAO Brewery and Distillery Co., Ltd. (President and CEO Koichi Shirai) announces SAKURAO GIN LIQUEUR NAVEL ORANGE 700ml will be released from November 1st, 2021.

For over a hundred years our distillation technique has been passed down through the generations. As a new challenge to product Western-style liquor, we released SAKURAO GIN in 2017. On this base, we also used Navel Orange from Hiroshima, which is production No.1 in Japan, to give a sweet and mellow fragrance and flavor to get a gin liqueur with a natural sweetness. Through SAKURAO GIN LIQUEUR NAVEL ORANGE, we will propose a cocktail culture that you can easily enjoy at home.

These oranges are grown among the gentle sunlight and fresh sea breeze of the Seto Inland Sea. Made from carefully selected local ingredients from Hiroshima using a traditional distillation method, SAKURAO GIN has now been given an even higher level of flavor by adding the refreshing sweetness of Hiroshima navel oranges. This results in a gin liqueur that presents the perfect harmony between fragrant navel oranges and a juniper berry aftertaste.

NAVEL ORANGE FROM HIROSHIMA

We pick navel oranges grown among the rich nature of Hiroshima’s Seto Inland Sea, which is also used in SAKURAO GIN, and use our unique steeping process to extract their sweet and mellow fragrance while leaving any undesirable flavors behind.
