(President and CEO Koichiro Shirai) announces a new plan to open the new distillery \u201cSAKURAO YOSHIWA WHISKY PARK (a tentative name)\u201d inside the grounds of Miwaku Village in Yoshiwa, located in a mountainous region of Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima. The total investment amount is several billion yen with an aiming for completion by autumn, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u3010The new theme park with distillery\u3011<br \/>\n\u201cSAKURAO YOSHIWA WHISKY PARK (a tentative name)\u201d has goals to convey the manufacturing spirits of Japan, spread and educate the local culture throughout Japanese whisky. And it will be the new theme park with distillery which invite not only whisky aficionado from Japan and abroad but also a new whisky fans segment.<\/p>\n<p>\u3010Yoshiwa, Hatsukaichi\u3011<br \/>\nYoshiwa is a heavy snowfall area, located in the mountainous region of northwest of Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima. A mountain in Yoshiwa named Mt. Kanmuri is the source of the Ota River as a first-class river representing Hiroshima.
