SAKURAO Brewery & Distillery Co., Ltd. (President and CEO Koichiro Shirai) announces 4 items of \u201cBlended Japanese Whisky Togouchi\u201d, which is in accordance with new Japanese whisky regulation by the Japan Sprits & Liqueurs Makers Association, will be simultaneously released from September 1st, 2023 for the development of Japanese Whisky Culture.<\/p>\n

To be in accordance with new Japanese whisky regulation by the Japan Sprits & Liqueurs Makers Association on April 2021, we carefully select and blend malt whisky and grain whisky distilled and aged by SAKURAO DISTILLERY and then bottle that blend whiskies. “Blended Japanese Whisky Togouchi” evolved to worthy of the \u201cJapanese whisky\u201d and to have a tasteful and characteristic flavor.<\/p>\n

A special blend that reflects the natural blessings in Hiroshima. We assemble a lineup which includes \u201cBlended Japanese Whisky Togouchi PREMIUM\u201d as a basic, \u201cSAKE CASK FINISH\u201d, \u201cBEER CASK FINISH\u201d and \u201cPEATED CASK FINISH\u201d as savoring harmony with the cask, CASK FINISH series. <\/p>\n

\u203bThe Japan Spirits & Liqueurs Makers Association established a new Japanese whisky regulations. Our \u201cJapanese Whisky Togouchi\u201d series is in accordance with that regulations.<\/p>\n

SAKURAO DISTILLERY is established and started to distill malt whiskies in 2017, and grain whiskies in 2019. After than 3 years, we can release \u201cBlended Japanese Whisky Togouchi\u201d at last. We are eternally grateful for the local residents of Hiroshima who have continued to support our endeavors, as well as loyal customers from around the world who choose our products. This includes local farmers, agricultural and forestry unions, distillery production staff, still manufacturers, bartenders, and SAKURAO ambassadors who have stood by us through various challenges.
